Submissions

Welcome creators! Of course Auteur- above all else- wants to make your voice heard. However, some guidelines regarding submissions are necessary.

Firstly, our age demographic is the 14-25 range: politically and socially aware young adults interested in the humanities.

What we consider eligible for publication is a rather wide net, including poetry, personal essays, art, opinion columns, news articles, and film/ tv/ book reviews. Short stories must be between 600-5000 words and news articles must have an accompanying illustration/photo.

Every month we- meaning the editors-in-chief- will select a ¨topic¨. Just a topical subject that will serve as an umbrella for all work published on the site during that month.

Your job is to make sure what you make fits with the theme of that month, and is submitted by the deadline.  If it does not achieve either goal, we will not publish it.

However, it may be published at a later date if it pertains to a future topic. Most of all, we want to create a healthy, exciting, and fun work environment for our writers.

This organization is more than a magazine: it´s a family. A collection of people all interested in bringing more intellect, humour, or empathy to the world.
