Issue 109: Art, a reflection of reality

Author Debasish Mridha once said, “Art is the reflection of an imaginative mind.”

Art is defined as the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination. What is the art that you use to impact the world?

Photography, drawing, poetry, or prose- what is your language of art, and how do you use it to tell the stories of society? An act of kindness in a photograph. A relatable experience in a poem. A drawing that is worth a thousand words.

Sometimes the world can’t be described in simple language. Art is the splash of color that everyone brings to the world through their own unique talents, experiences, and passions.

For this issue, youth are invited to portray their passions, interests, and talents through art in various media.

How do you use art to change the world? All youth 13-26 are eligible to submit their work to issue 109 to Auteur Magazine. All articles, poems, artworks, and photographic essays will be due January 30th. Navigate to the submission menu bar and fill out the google form to be featured.

All work should have some angle of art in it. Art can be defined in any way you see fit. Auteur editors will make the final decision on pieces published.
